Sharing Jesus

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.

Mission Outreach

Northridge Christian Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

SHare jesus without fear

Step One

Use Question That Determine Where God is Working
1. Do you have any kind of spiritual belief?
2. To you, who is JesusDo you believe there is a heaven and a hell?
3. If you died right now, where would you go? If heaven, why?
4. If what you believe were not true, would you want to know it?
5. If yes, open Bible
6. If No, do nothing.

Step Two

Let the Bible Speak
Read each verse out loud and ask, “What does this say to you?
1. Romans 3:23- All have sinned.
2. Romans 6:23- The wages of sin is death.
3. John 3:3- You must be born again. Ask: “Why did Jesus come to die?
4. John 14:6- I am the Way.
5. Romans 10:9-11- If you confess… you will be saved.
6. 2 Corinthians 5:15- No longer live for themselves.
7. Revelation 3:20- I stand at the door and knock.

Step Three

Close with Key Questions
1. Are you a sinner?
2. Do you want forgiveness for your sins?
3. Do you believe Jesus died on the cross?
4. Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ?
5. Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and into your heart?

Be Silent and Pray
“Heavenly Father, I have sinned against You. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give You my life to do with as You wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. Amen”

Principle
Success in witnessing is living the Christian life day by day, sharing the gospel, and trusting God for the results. Success is not bringing someone to Christ. God does the work. We cannot fail. It is all God’s work.

Truths
“By grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves” (Eph. 2:8)
“ I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with demonstration of the Spirit’s power (1 Cor. 2:3-4)
“No one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him” (John 6:65)
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Worship

“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)

At the very heart of Sunday Service at NCC is true worship of God. Our service includes a good mix of contemporary Christian music lead by NCC’s worship team.

Please read on to find out more about what it means to truly worship God…

Christian Worship – It’s More Than Music Christian worship is often thought of as the music portion of a church service – people singing songs to God, heads back, eyes closed, and hands raised in the air as they sing. We can worship God in song any where, any time, whether alone or with fellow Christians. If our desire is to please the heart of God, it is worship, no matter where the location or how many are involved.Music affects our emotions and the lyrics can swell our hearts, causing us to become lost in the experience. Christian praise and worship music is a great tool for helping us feel closer to God. Often people will emerge from a service saying, “The worship was wonderful today,” or “The sermon was great, but I was really moved by the worship.”
You may be surprised to realize that the entire service is about worshipping God!
